Sharwil Avocado Seeds

This listing is for our Haiku, Maui gorwn SHARWIL Avocado SEEDS/PIT.  We offer this fresh wet packed seed in a pack of THREE (3) SEEDS per pack.  These seeds are in the fruit still and we will ship within 1 to 2 weeks of order being placed, instead of our usual 1 to 2 days.

 (When available we also offer also offer our fresh/whole Avocado fruit itself for shipment within the state of Hawaii only).

These seeds come from our heavily producing Sharwil Avocado tree. The mother tree has been happily growing in our orchard for over 25 years. The tree is a 'dwarf' variety and has stayed somewhat short and produces an abundance of buttery tasting, perfect looking avocados.
PLEASE NOTE, most Gardeners would suggest buying a GRAFTED Avocado tree over growing an Avocado tree from a seed. I offer these seeds because they are very easy to grow and you can use them as stock trees, to graft other trees on to. Please read up on growing Avocado from a seed over grafted. 
Many types of plants grow well or 'true to seed', other plants are better if they are grafted so that you are ensured the exact same qualities as the parent plant. There are two sides to every story. Yes, making clones ensures one of the exact traits they desire BUT there is also something to be said for the genetic biodiversity that seeds provide.
Plus, it is just fun to watch a tree grow from a seed. This heavily producing fruit tree makes a perfect addition to our 'outdoor pantry'.
