This listing is for ONE (1) Monstera deliciosa SEEDLING plant about 4” high (seedling is shown). Monstera is also called 'Split Leaf Philodendron' or 'Swiss Cheese Plant'. Monstera begins to develop the beautiful leaves it is known for (also shown) as it grows larger.
We ship all live plants bare root/no soil. Hawaii State Agricultural Inspection included with listing price.

Please plant your Monstera seedling on arrival in a container of good potting soil. SHADE ONLY IS BEST FOR THIS PLANT PLEASE. 75-85 degrees at all times. Keep watered evenly. Direct sun is not needed. This plant will grow large leaves and try to fall over, plan on providing some sort of support/a stake to hold up your developing plant.
Monstera makes a wonderful Houseplant/Container grown plant but is considered semi invasive in Hawaii.
Mature Monstera plants (grown outdoors in a warm climate) will eventually produce a corn cob looking fruit (shown in listing photos). The inside of this Monstera fruit is edible once ripe. If you are lucky you might find a seed or two hidden inside the fruit. The seeds are about the size of a pea and well hidden.
Monstera prefers to grow in the shade. Please read up on how to grow this plant in your particular area. Maui has a year round growing climate. We are unable to advise you on indoor growing in your area. This plant grows outdoors in Maui's year round climate. Please remember that Monstera is a tropical plant and 75-85 degrees is the ideal temperature.
