This listing is for ONE (1) Monstera deliciosa SEED. Monstera is also known as 'Split Leaf Philodendron' or 'Swiss Cheese Plant'.
Monstera is a very easy to grow houseplant, even for a Novice Gardener. Your freshly collected seed is wet packed in damp paper toweling in a sealed plastic baggie. Perfect for gift giving or to keep for yourself. Your Monstera seed can easily be germinated indoors inside the baggie that it arrives in. Once you have observed your live seed sprout place it in a container of good potting soil. Keep watered evenly. Shade is best. Between 75-85 degrees is ideal. Direct sun is not needed. This plant will grow large leaves and try to fall over, so maybe give it some support/a stake to hold it up.
Mature plants will actually produce a corn cob looking fruit (shown in listing photos). The inside is edible and if you are lucky you might find a seed or two-they are about the size of a pea and well hidden.
Monstera prefers shade. Please read up on how to grow this plant in your particular area. Maui has a year round growing climate. We are unable to advise you on indoor growing in your area.
