Hibiscus sabdariffa (Roselle) Seeds
Grow and make your own Red Zinger health Tea...This listing is for Hibiscus sabdariffa SEEDS, grown in our Haiku, Maui Hawaii garden. Harvested November, 2018 for the Spring 2019 growing season. Offered in packs of 10, 25 or 100 Seeds.
This annual is very easy to grow for the Novice Gardener. Hibiscus sabdariffa is the plant that Red Zinger tea is made. The leaves of this plant are also edible, they taste like a spicy spinach to me. Hibiscus sabdariffa, also known as 'Roselle', it produces a pretty pink colored hibiscus looking flowers before it matures into the red seed pod that is shown in the listing photos.
Place your seeds in a container of potting soil or plant directly in your garden. Full sun and keep evenly watered.
I highly recommend trying this annual herb in your garden. Hibiscus sabdariffa has a very high Vitamin C content and makes a delicious herbal tea.
I was very pleased with every phase of this plant, with how quickly it grew to the end product.
