Hawaiian Ipu Gourd

This listing is for FIVE (5) Hawaiian Ipu Gourd seeds.  All of our seeds are Maui sourced.  This gourd is not edible, it is grown for use as the traditional drum used by Hula dancers.

Grow this vine the same as any other gourd, in warm fertile garden soil.  Keep watered + warm.  Your Hawaiian Ipu Gourd vines will produce slender white flowers that become the Ipu gourds.  Your vine will dry up and die back once your Ipu gourds mature, this is normal.  

Growing instructions are not provided with or after you receive your fresh Maui Seeds safely.  Please plan on researching how to grow (and any other plant) that you wish to grow in your Garden/particular growing situation.
