This listing is for FIVE (5) Curry (Murraya koenigii) SEEDS. These seeds will arrive GERMINATING and ready to plant in containers of good potting soil.
We are very happy to offer this fresh Maui grown seed. Your live seeds will ship packaged in damp paper toweling inside of a sealed plastic baggie. *****Please note that it takes a while (a couple MONTHS) for slow growing Curry Tree seeds to make actual leaves above the soil surface.****
Plant your germinated seeds in a container of good potting soil (Miracle gro brand is suggested). These seeds will not all grow at the same rate/in unison. We have 100% germination rate with our fresh from the fruit Curry seeds. Please be aware that Hawaii has the constant 75-85 degree temperature that this seed/plant prefers. Usually if you recreate what a Plants natural environment is you will have success growing it.
Bright but NOT direct light is best for developing seedlings.

These fresh seeds will slightly stain the white paper toweling that they will ship in. Please also be aware that similar to Curry plant itself, the Curry SEEDS also have a strong Curry smell when you receive them. This is normal and to be expected.

PLEASE NOTE THAT Curry is a POLYEMBRYONIC seed and will appear to crack in two or more pieces as it develops. Each part will grow a root. Your seeds will be shipped in a sturdy cardboard box. They are not 'crushed' or 'broken' on arrival, they are beginning to germinate. Very small roots will develop from each part of your seed. Gardening is a personal project/a science experiment every time. We do not guarantee your success/gardening skill. We do offer live Curry trees but they are for shipment within the state of Hawaii only.
Once you plant your seeds in soil, Curry seedlings will not begin to show above the soil surface for at least 6 weeks or more.

Photos of what one of our 9 month old Curry plants grown from seed looks like are also shown for your reference. They stay very small at first, about 4" high. The leaves still have that deep rich Curry scent when crushed but are not ready for use yet.
Curry is a warm weather plant. It grows very slowly, do not overwater this heat loving plant. It is a balancing act keeping the Curry seedlings moist but not overwatering them. I like to use a spray bottle with tap water to hydrate many of my seeds/seedlings.
Please plan on researching how to grow this plant in your particular area. We do not provide written growing instructions with or after you receive your seeds safely.
