Coffee is a shade loving small tree. Coffee trees can be grown indoors in a container or outdoors in a tropical climate.

Your Maui grown coffee seeds will arrive wet packed in sealed plastic baggies. Please observe germinate of your seeds in the baggie that they arrive in, indoors, no light needed. Leave one 'test' seed in the packet if you decide to bury in soil before germination. Once your seeds are planted in soil it is hard to see what is happening until they grow above the soil surface. A very nsall white root will begin to develop after several weeks. Please remember that Coffee grows in the SHADE and will not tolerate direct sun/light.
