We have a god success rate germinating large tropical seeds like these with the damp paper towel in a plastic baggie germination method.  Once the seed germinates it can be planted in a container of good potting soil about the depth that it is the size of.  Plan on keeping 75-85 degrees at all times and evenly watered.
